2022 Iceland

Select images from a recent October 2022 trip to Iceland. Returning in October this was my third time visiting Iceland. By late fall the height of tourism has subsided and the weather is on the edge of turning into winter. Days were starting to get shorter and the moon was visible for most of the week oscillating above and below the horizon ever so slightly. Although I had a list of places I wanted to visit or revisit it is somewhat required to go where the weather dictates and where the aurora forecast looks favorable. Read the full story here.
