Oregon Spring

Its spring in Oregon and that means we have flowers, snow, rain, sun, and hail all in a good day outside.  Camping by the ocean or the mountains on a clear afternoon does not predict a dry evening and judging when the rain may let up is a guessing game at best so don’t wait too long. Stormy two days on the coast at Nehalem Bay State Park and Cape Lookout Point followed by sunny days at Timberline Resort on Mt. Hood. With a 617′ base and 20″ expected over the following days it may be powder skiing before the jump line is groomed and ready for action but the good news is there is plenty of snow left for a summit.
